How to participate

 

 
 

The Schneider Electric University Challenge comprises three processes. Students are first required to submit proposals based on a scenario provided by Schneider Electric. The best proposals will be short listed by a panel of judges. The short listed teams will then attend a one-day workshop conducted by Schneider Electric, where they will be trained on Schneider Electric’s energy efficient products and solutions. These students will be allocated a budget to purchase necessary items from Schneider Electric to produce a small scale prototype / demo unit (click for the List). At the finals, the students will be required to present their proposals to a panel of judges, who will select the winning teams.

 

               

 

  

 

 
Form Team & Register   Launching Round 1  

Shortlist to
Round 2
  • Form a team of 3 members
  • Competition is open to all 3rd or 4th year Bachelor’s degree engineering at Malaysia's higher institutions       
  
  • Media announcement of competition
  • Road shows/briefing at all participating universities
     

 

  
  • Undergraduates are given a scenario to work on the proposal
  • The proposal must be submitted in PDF format within 15 days after roadshow at your campus 
  
  • Judges will shortlist 6 teams that will proceed to the next around


     
             
              

 

              
Training   Round 2   Presentation Announcing the Winners
  • Shortlisted teams will be trained on energy effiency, products, etc


 

 

  
  • Each team submits a technical proposal based on the chosen scenario
  • Teams are required to build a demo to prove the concept using Schneider Electric products 
  
  • Each team will be required to present to the panel of judges during the Finals


 

 
  • Prize giving ceremony will take place at the Finals
