    • Nomade des Mers Exploring low-technologies with Nomade des Mers

      While the crew of a catamaran travels the globe developing and testing different types of low-tech innovation, the Foundation provides financial, technological and human support for the expedition, involving Schneider Electric experts and volunteers from Schneider Electric Teachers.

        Raising awareness with WWF The students from the Schneider Electric School (Ecole des Metiers de l’Energie) took part in the Café Panda challenge during COP 21 to set up action on their campus to reduce CO2 emission. The competed with 21 other schools and won the “Coup de coeur” prize!

        COP21 in Paris In December 2015, the Schneider Electric Foundation took part in COP21 and supported  7 projects among which an exhibition of African artists about light, a call for projects to tackle fuel poverty, a game to reduce one’s ecological footprint.
      • Refuge du Goûter

        In 2012, as the major founding sponsor, Schneider Electric carried out all of the energy management of the new Refuge du Goûter, an HEQ building unique in its technologies, its management of renewable energies.

        Princess Elisabeth polar station Schneider Electric handled all aspects of energy management for this exceptional project: electrical power supply, technical management, automation, supervision and remote control of the polar station.
